Wild Women Throw an Amazing Party!!
What do you need for an amazing party? My favorite answer would be an amazing and wild woman with culinary talents with an extra twist on pastries. Lynette Shirk is the author of six books and was the Pastry Chef at Williams-Sonoma’s corporate headquarters in San Francisco. Actually her start into culinary history was making pizza in the mid-west. A graduate of Ohio State University, she moved to San Francisco to attend California Culinary Academy, where she cooked scallops with Julia Child. Lynette’s books and 1300 recipes have been featured on QVC and in Family Circle magazine. Making her presence known in the San Francisco Bay area she worked for restaurants from Bizou to the Hornblower Dining Yachts. During that time she invented Java Lava and actually went to work for Spinelli Coffee Company to understand coffee better. Volcano Candy became a hit and she developed several flavors. Expect this to be a wild and calorie laden show. Don’t Miss it!
Introduction
Lynette Shirk is a chef but a great pastry chef so good she was the pastry chef at Williams-Sonoma’s headquarters in San Francisco. She is also a multi book author, with many cookbooks to her name. But her last two books are very interesting. Take Our Kids Back!
Aimee Breen and her young family are leaders of a revolt. A revolt against: feeding our nations children the cheapest nutritional deficient and chemically laden food in our country. She was frustrated at the choices available for her family, thus she and her business partner formed a company called Green Kidz. Their philosophy is from seed to shelf. With their model, Green Kidz will be able to supply the freshest and highest quality food for each community, to homes, schools and retail chains. Aimee will tell us how stepping back from the huge multi-product conglomerate that also manufactures food… to the more regional friendly, family farmer will help kidz stay healthy and happy for life. She honed her managing skills in San Francisco restaurants like Kuleto’s, Maya, and Oritalia; and her start up skills at the Sunrise Coffee Company. Aimee is developing a core group of mothers who are the champions of Green Kidz, motivated to getting nutritious food into schools and homes.
Producer's Note: During the show, almost at the end, Aimee suddenly just vanished off the phone line. It took several minutes but she finally called back in to the program. We found out after the show she couldn't call back on her land line but had to use her cell phone. This show was live during the major fires in Southern California in 2007. Aimee was calling just outside the burn area. We think someplace along the phone line, the lines burned. She said it took several hours to get her land line service back.

High Priestess since 1986 Deborah Lipp has been a Wicca for over 15 years. She is a teacher of Wicca and runs Pagan Circles ever since starting. She is a published author with 5 books to her name. She has been on the A&E Documentary called “Ancient Mysteries: Witchcraft in America. She has also appeared on MSNBC , The New York Times and many smaller publications and TV. What is Deborah Lipp really like? Is she a witch and why do we care? Do we still have all those stories of witches stored in our memories from child hood? Is the only image you have of a witch from Halloween decorations? Does Deborah celebrate Halloween? What are the stereo typical thoughts we all have of witches? Deborah will help us understand.
